From Data To Analysis with Power Query and CUBEVALUE Function

Transform data using Power query

In this project:

We combine multiple text files from a folder. Each file contains thousands of records. We clean and Transform the data in Power Query and create an M function. We send the data to the Data Model in Power Pivot and  create a DAX function and a Pivot Table.

Finally with a drop list we filter the data in the Data Model using a CUBEVALUE function.

We test by adding more files to the source folder and refresh the query and everything magically updates.
